Loved by kids and adults alike. Creamy, chocolaty banana dream. Combine homemade almond milk with bananas and cacao powder to create this super tasty power drink.
Almonds are a true superfood. They are associated with a range of health benefits, such as supporting bone and skin health. They can also contribute to strengthen the immune system. Soaking them in water and eaten raw maximises their nutritional value. Raw cacao powder is rich in antioxidants, can be good for the heart, can strengthen immunity and is associated with longevity.

INGREDIENTS
500 ml
water (and extra water for soaking)
Required tools: Blender or food processor
WORK DESCRIPTION
- Soak almonds in water for at least 8 hours (for example overnight)
- Dispose soaking water and rinse almonds well
- Add almonds and 500 ml water to food processor (or blender) and blend for 2 minutes
- Pour mixture through sieve into a large bowl, using a spoon to help milk pass through (use leftover pulp in yogurts or smoothies)
- Pour sieved almond milk back into blender and add banana, cacao powder, honey, vanilla and salt. Blend shortly
- Enjoy immediately or store in fridge in airtight container for 2 days
