Creamy carrot mash


Preparation time: 15-30 minutes recipes

Mashes are ideal for picky eaters. Carrot mash is colourful, sweet and buttery. Can also be stored in the fridge for a few days. Ideal for batch cooking.

Goes well with: as a side dish to fish or meat


INGREDIENTS

500 g carrots
50 g butter
Cup of water
1 handful of chopped parsley
Pinch of salt
Required tools: Food processor or blender

WORK DESCRIPTION

  • Roughly chop carrots (don’t peel) and steam in water until soft
  • Meanwhile chop onion into small pieces and gently fry for a few minutes
  • Blend steamed carrots with butter, fried onion, water and salt
  • Add chopped parsley and stir well
  • Serve
